An evening full dress 

Evening headdress from La Belle Assemblée April 1806A Grecian robe of a light embroidered muslin, half Vandyke sleeves, full at the top, looped up with a square cornelian broach; the busk broad and plain, carelessly thrown over the bosom to the right side; bosom trimmed with French ribband; a muslin girdle, with acorn tassels at the end; armlets to match the broaches; the whole of the above worn over a white sarsnet slip. White kid gloves and shoes.

A walking dress 

Morning bonnet from La Belle Assemblée April 1806A Parisian mantle of dove-coloured sarsnet, trimmed with French grey floss silk, forming a broad border, confined on the right shoulder with a bow of the same; an Egyptian broach; this mantle is extremely graceful and elegant. A morning bonnet of dove-coloured sarsnet to correspond with the mantle is turned up in front with French grey floss silk; this bonnet is worn very much on one side of the head, so as to discover the hair carelessly curled.

A fashionable walking dress

Bonnet of lavender sarsnet from La Belle Assemblée April 1806A jacket and petticoat, walking length, of Circassian cambric, ornamented with narrow footing lace, or worked muslin, let in round the bottom of the petticoat, and on the edge of the jacket and sleeves. Bonnet of lavender sarsnet, trimmed with shaded ribband.

A morning high dress of cambric muslin

Morning cap of white lace from La Belle Assemblée April 1806Train moderately long; robe flowing from the shoulder, lace collar, trimmed with tulle; plain long sleeves, trimmed with tulle; wrists ornamented with a topaz clasp or bracelets to correspond; yellow gloves and shoes. A morning cap of white lace trimmed with tulle, tied under the chin with white ribband.

A walking dress

Peasant cap from La Belle Assemblée April 1806Of Japan cambric muslin, with worked long sleeves, and made close to the figure, buttoned behind from the neck to the bottom of the train. A Poland mantle of blue silk, trimmed with silk cable of the same colour, fastened with an antique on the right shoulder; a peasant cap to correspond.

A full dress

A splendid web Fourreau, Grecian front, sleeves and train bound with embossed ribband, and trimmed with tulle; a white satin slip is worn underneath. Head-dress, a Circassian turban, embroidered in silver lamé; a bird of paradise plume in front.

A round dress
Opera comb and pearl necklace from La Belle Assemblée April 1806
Of pale yellow sarsnet, with a drapery of white crape over it, drawn up in festoons, and fastened with tassels of white beads. The head ornamented with a tiara, bandeaux of amethyst, and an opera comb; a pearl necklace.
