Regency History Talks
Book us to give a talk
We’ve delivered dozens of presentations to many different groups, both in-person and online.
Talks available from us include:
Weymouth in the time of Jane Austen
We love helping others learn about history.
That’s why we give talks to groups keen to hear stories from the late Georgian and Regency era.
Look down this page for our current list of talks, which are often delivered in Regency costume.
Prices start from £80, plus travel.
Each talk lasts around 45 minutes, after which the audience are encouraged to ask questions.
We speak in person across Dorset and into Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire. Talks in London, Bristol and Birmingham and further afield may be possible.
Groups and events we’ve spoken to include:
The National Library of Ireland
Charles Burney Early Music Festival in King’s Lynn, part of the King’s Lynn Festival, Norfolk
Local library and museum groups
WI groups in Dorset and Devon
Regency Fiction Writers (USA)
Jane Austen Society

We’re also happy to speak with the media. Rachel has been interviewed for several BBC TV and radio shows.
